Scrap Rewinder
Installed at the exit of the Side Trimmer, the Scrap Winder continuously and tightly recoils the trimmed narrow steel strips into compact coils. This facilitates centralized storage, crane handling, and transport for recycling. It is primarily used for thin strips (up to 3mm); thicker scrap is typically handled by scrap choppers.
Advantages:
Compared to scrap choppers, the Scrap Winder produces neat, solid coils that are easier to recycle and store. It minimizes airborne dust and flying debris, enhancing workplace safety and environmental compliance.

Scrap Belt Conveyor
Positioned in the pit or chute between the Side Trimmer and the Scrap Winder, this conveyor smoothly catches, guides, and transports bent, twisted, or intermittent scrap strips to the winder, preventing jams and unscheduled downtime.
Advantages:
Effectively handles deformed scrap, drastically reducing the risk of blockages. It minimizes the need for manual pit cleaning, significantly boosting line continuity, operational safety, and overall productivity.
