A Steel Coil Side Trimmer, also known as a Rotary Slitter or Edge Trimming Machine, is a critical finishing unit in continuous Metal Processing Lines (such as pickling lines, cut-to-length lines, and continuous annealing lines). Positioned after the payoff reel and Leveler, its primary function is to perform precision trimming of both edges of the strip to remove irregularities, cracks, or oxidized material.

According to the transmission mode, Jiade Side trimmer can be divided into Pull through type and Driven type;

According to the adjustment mode of the cutting blade, jiade Side trimmer can be divided into single-blade shear and double-blade shear (turret type).

The Turret type side trimmer allows for quick blade changes online, no need to stop the whole system, thereby enhancing the overall production efficiency.
