Unlike tension levelers designed for steel, this machine is equipped with a dedicated high-pressure air jet system. During high-speed operation, the system continuously blows away fine aluminum debris (smut) generated by the leveling process. This prevents surface blemishes caused by debris re-embossing and maintains the precision of the roll gap, ensuring optimal surface finish and extended equipment life.

Distinct from conventional steel strip levelers, this system is optimized for the specific physical properties of aluminum—its softness, tendency to generate sticky fines, and thin oxide layer.

· Real-time Aluminum Dust Removal: Strategically positioned adjustable nozzles uniformly inject clean compressed air into the roll bite area, effectively dislodging micron-sized aluminum fines and oxides generated by surface friction.

· Prevention of Surface Impressions: Prevents debris from being rolled back into the strip surface during subsequent leveling passes, thereby avoiding defects such as indentations, scratches, and uneven gloss. This ensures a superior finished surface roughness (Ra ≤ 0.8μm).

· Protection of Roll System Accuracy: Minimizes dust accumulation that can alter the roll gap settings between Work Rolls and backup rolls. This maintains consistent leveling force and extends roll service life.

· Enhanced Operational Stability: Reduces the risk of electrical component contamination caused by airborne dust, significantly improving equipment reliability, especially under high-speed operating conditions (≤500 m/min).
