Four High-Tech Enterprises from High-Tech Zone Shine in Final Competition, Reaping New Fruits in Innovation and Entrepreneurship

On August 15, the final of the 14th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Hubei Division) came to a successful conclusion. Four participating high-tech enterprises from our district won excellent results with their hard strength. Among them, Yu'ang Technology Co., Ltd. and Xiangyang Jiade Machinery Co., Ltd. won the second prize, while Xiangyang Guangre Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. and Hubei Depu Electric Co., Ltd. won the third prize, fully demonstrating the remarkable achievements of our district in cultivating scientific and technological innovation entities and stimulating the vitality of innovation and entrepreneurship.

As one of the innovation and entrepreneurship competitions with the highest specification and the widest influence in China, the China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition brings together high-quality scientific and technological enterprises and innovative projects from various fields across the country. This year's competition attracted 1071 science and technology innovation enterprises to sign up, of which small and medium-sized technology-based enterprises accounted for 66.1%, and high-tech enterprises accounted for 46.8%. The participating enterprises held 458 core patents. The four enterprises from our district advanced to the final after layers of selection. Facing strong opponents from all over the country, they stood out in the fierce competition with leading technical achievements, clear market positioning and excellent team performance, and won honor for our district with their outstanding results.

Yu'ang Technology Co., Ltd. has been deeply engaged in the field of new materials for many years. Its participating project "Research and Development and Industrialization of High-Performance Dispersant PVP for New Energy Lithium Batteries" won high recognition from the judges with its internationally leading technology (controlled polymerization technology breaking the monopoly). Xiangyang Jiade Machinery Co., Ltd. continues to make breakthroughs in the field of high-end manufacturing. Relying on Tension Leveling technology, fracturing pump bearings and other technologies, it has opened up a new path for the transformation and upgrading of traditional manufacturing. The company's core products, including Tension Leveler, multi-roll straightening machine, steel strip tension leveler, multi-roll straightening machine for steel coil, high precision tension leveler, continuous tension Leveler for steel processing and multi roll tension leveling machine for metal strip, have reached the leading level in the industry, providing strong technical support for the upgrading of China's high-end equipment manufacturing industry. Guangre Environmental Protection and Depu Electric also showed their innovative "ace" in their respective fields. The unique advantages of their projects in energy conservation and environmental protection, new energy vehicles and other aspects fully demonstrate the innovation potential of the enterprises in their respective segments.

In recent years, the District Science and Technology Bureau has always taken the cultivation and expansion of scientific and technological enterprises as the core starting point to promote high-quality development. Through measures such as improving the policy system, building service platforms, and strengthening the guarantee of factors, it has "paved the way" for the innovation and development of enterprises: on the one hand, it accurately implements policies such as the additional deduction of R&D expenses and the tax preference for high-tech enterprises to reduce the innovation cost of enterprises; on the other hand, it actively organizes enterprises to participate in various innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, industry-university-research docking activities, to help enterprises broaden their horizons, link resources, and continuously improve their core competitiveness.
